On Friday 6 April, the first public vote was announced with the aim of deciding whether to change the LCS Cryptoshares price from 0.0004 ETH to 40c USD. By using our voting system developed with Smart Contracttechnology, we are able to quickly and seamlessly secure the public's voice on this issue.

On Monday 9 April, voting closed with a final vote count of 7,330 does not support postal changes to USD, and 7,375,151 supports pegs to USD changes. As such, we can apply this change by knowing that it has support from the LCS community.

What's next for LocalCoinSwap
As we prepare to begin ICO, a new and exciting development has been announced. Starting April 15, LocalCoinSwap will continue to strive for transparency by initiating a public development process using Agile Scrum methodology. This will consist of a 2-week sprint where each sprint start will explain what we're working on and includes a prototype video and Q & A session with the developer. This will allow community members to engage with the development process and provide feedback about features and design as we go.
